Great white Heron on a cloudy day
Have been practicing my exposure techniques a white bird in such a light was a challenge when there was action. I would neglect the exposure in a hurry. Learning to curb that now.
I would have preferred to be a little closer than this. and a slightly better HA.
This is almost as shot, some curves adjustment. I dont know what the bird is holding in his beak. Some crop. a dry branch removed from front of the bird.

Lovely elegant pose, I think the brightest leading edges of the wings are a little hot.

Yes to a lovely pose. I love the outstretched wings and the feet tickling the water. Image quality is suspect.... The brightest WHITEs are without detail. Try re-converting the image so that the WHITEs have no RGB values above 235...
