    i have many pictures of the oystercatchers but few in flight.
    I was so lucky to make this.

    Astonishing!
    What amazing tonal range. Very nice detail in the bright whites and dark shadows.
    Interesting that you got some motion blur on the wing tips at 1/1600th of a second.
    I don't mind the blur at all; gives it a sense of action.

    Agree. Very nice. I love the dorsal view of the near-wing. SH and EXP perfect.
