Hi,
This burrowing owl was so kind to fly by me and make the correct turn and the right moment...thank you Mr. Owl. I think the head is sharp as such it seems for once I almost got the right target in focus. I hope you all really like it! All comments and suggestions MOST welcome, and , thank you for looking!
Best to All!

Michael, I'm trying to get decent burrowing owl flight shots about as hard as you are. Tough critters to focus on. Great wing position. Wish only for a slight head turn and a little more sharpening.
Michael, you did a nice job here to get most of the bird in sharp focus, but this image doesn't connect with me because the owl is looking away from us. It can be hard to create powerful flight images when the bird is looking away. Nice light on the bird and several important elements have fallen into place...just needs that extra kick to get it over the top. :)
I assume this is one of the owls up in Brian Piccolo Park. What is making them fly? I sure hope is not photographers getting too close or putting pressure on them to take flight (170mm is pretty close).
Dear Judd, Thank you for your feedback. Please note that I stood for close to 1 hour waiting for that bird to fly from a tree that he was sitting in and he made the correct decision to fly by me.....No Pressure...but I am aware of your warning and it is well taken!
Best,
Michael
