Very nice low angle and terrific control of the whites and right through the blacks, lovely detail in both. Great eye contact. I especially like the sharp angles of the head and wings contrasting against the rounded breast. Liking this image a lot.

Troy I really like the way the bird stares at you, nice pose and the open wings, with lovely light don't think you could ask for more. Very nice indeed.

Killer straight on wing flap, Troy. Loving the light. I would pull back on the yellow just a tad.

Wow that is one heck of a shot - super details and exposure, excellent timing, the angle is idyllic - I just love the blue on the sides of the head.

Love it Troy! I like how "mean" this fella looks like from this angle. Perfect wingspread, and nice light. You could tone down the very brightest whites IMO, but all else looks great.

Killer pose and awesome fg, bg colors. Love the low shooting angle and the head-on mean look. Agree about toning down the whites a tad.

    Excellent!

I do wonder if Marina might be right about backing of slightly on the yellows.

I like the low angle, pointy head, BG, light, composition and that both eyes are visible. Excellent image Troy!
