The image was captured with a long lens ( 600mm ). PP included poster edge and a Topaz effect to smooth out the texture of the bg ( don't remember ). I just downloaded the Topaz bundle and have been trying it out. Must become more organized. Will save that for a New Years resolution.

Beautiful composition and colors, Gary. I love the curve of the flower and the fine detail. Very nice work.

The opposing diagonals are very effective, and the colors work well together. The flowers look like they're spiraling upwards around the seed head, and that's a treat. I like the out-of-focus background, too. Very nicely shot and processed.

Beautiful work. The poster edge works great to bring out the details of this flower. Pleasing curve. Lovely colors. I wonder about croping closer top and sides. I like the simplicity. Very nice image.

Beautiful, Gary. I like the composition and the background is lovely. I especially like all of the white background contrasting with the greens and yellows in the background.

Very nicely done! Agree with everyone above. You'll find an endless variation of effects in Topaz. Sometimes I do nothing but experiment just to see what happens .

I really like the curve on the mullein and how the BG greens are converging towards it. Almost as if beckoning. I might evict or clone over the green line on the left edge. Very beautiful image.
