Pink In Flight

Caught this bird in flight but it was towards the right side of the frame. I could have added some canvas to the right but decided to leave it as is.

You should definitely reconsider adding the canvas, Troy. Unfortunately not an easy task, but it would greatly improve the image.

I agree about the canvas addition but still a nice IF frame. Wish the wing was clear of the head. Exposure and details look good too. Well done

I like the body angle, water drops, BG and details. I would add canvas as well but that is my personal taste. Well done Troy!

It is NOT hard to add canvas. Here is a 20-second fix I did using Content-aware Scale in Photoshop CC. I also darkened the bird a tiny amount.

Like Henry said, adding canvas is not difficult task. In this shot, I still prefer my version which focus on the taking off with water drop and flight. It comes down to a personal preference. I still believe my shot has more impact than the one with added canvas.
