    Hi all,
Hit the Port Fairy Pelagic as well, awesome time and met some great guys.. got mad sea sick for the second trip in a row and was knocked out by 8:30am but still managed to rock out some shots with my badboy 500mm during short bursts when I could pick myself up..
5d mk iii, 500mm mk ii, f8, iso 800, 1/1600.. crop and sharpen resized file.. taken at 10:30am..

What wonderful feet! I love their color!
I like the composition tight on the body.
I can't tell if the white of the head has any detail at all. I wonder if you could bring that out if it is there.

I like the tight crop too, and I love the light showing through the feet! Well done despite the malaise you had on board...

Hi Merv, the tight crop took me a second or two for my eyes to adjust to but I think it works. Might look at adding some more tones to the feet and tail feathers as they look a little shallow in tone to me.

Glad you got mobile on a few occasions to photograph rather than run to the side of the deck. I hear ginger works a treat for sea sickness.

Sorry to hear about your motion sickness. A patch behind your ear before your next trip out could make for a more pleasant trip!

Love this image. The angle is perfect and love that tight crop. Those feat are amazing!

Those feet are indeed beautiful and I love the light filtering through those webbed feet and through the tail feathers. The crop did grow on me. Looking forward to more. TFS.
