    Default Semipalmated Plover

Finally after almost a year of not touching my camera I got out to play. There are many images of little shore birds...here is the first one. Comments are welcome.

Beautiful Image. The light quality is soft and exposure works well. POse and eye contact are great.

Sweet inquisitive look and I like the foliage on the ground.
I would take a bit more off the bottom ( to the bottom line of your signature)to get rid of some of the OOF FG.
I wish we could see the feet but still a lovely image,
    Gail

Perfectly timed for a head on stare. Love the natural setting (except what looks like a piece of concrete next to the left leg)
Glad that you could finally get out to photograph.

Love the pose...that is some head turn! Nice low angle and I absolutely love the BG. I'm not as crazy about the FG though - perhaps you could tone it down?

Glad you were able to get out...and looking forward to more that you got!

Thank you guys for the comments. The fore ground is as natural as it can be in Yucatan at the salt lagunas. But I agree with Dan's comment and I will tone it down. I always try to include some of the vegetation...that few that grows there:).
Thanks again for all the comments.
