Very nice, interesting view. The colors and ice texture are dramatic. And the clouds and flare of the sun add interesting touches.

Love it, with great textures and a nice sun-star from your fish-eye. I wonder, if you'd stopped down to f/16 would the sun-star be even more dramatic? My Canon and my former Sigma fish-eyes produced wonderful sun-stars that really got detailed at f/16.

Did you de-fish this? If so, which software?

Hi Dave, I did not de-fish it. As you can see on the right corner & in the middle of image fish eye effect is visible but on left corner may be due to the black zodiac portion the effect is not seen.

    Hi Vikram

I like the colour and the detail you have captured here. I especially like how there is a blue gradient fading to nothing in the foreground. The sun I find distracting yet I think its an important element in this image, so I am unsure what else to say or suggest about this.. I am also curious about a small structure RHS at the base of a snow slope...

    regards

    DON

    Hi Don,
Thanks for kind words. The small structure is a part of an abandoned Argentina base on Antarctic peninsula.

Well I'll say one thing...the phenomenal deep blues in the sky really set the tone for this image. It looks like a sea of ice hugging the mountains.

I really like this. Great perspective from the low angle and fisheye - nice touch with the sunstar and the deep blues. I would brighten the darkest spots a touch perhaps?

Hi Vikram, love the sunstar and the comp...great detail throughout...for my tastes the darkest parts of the sky are just a little too dark, but that's just me. Lovely Work!!!
