    Default First light at Bosque

Recently returned form my first but defiantly not last trip to Bosque what a wonderful place. This image was made on the first of two days we had clear skies as the sun came up over the horizon setting the birds and land covered in frost aglow

Congratulations on your first trip to Bosque, Don. Glad you loved it and wish to return. This is a lovely image with a very nice flight pose and angle. I love seeing the snow on the ground!!! I might go with a tad bluer hue to give it more of a wintery look.

Really beautiful Don. Love the light, incoming flight angle and the fact that you will "defiantly" and definitely go back to Bosque!
You have a beautiful color palette going on here,

Gorgeous light and beautiful colors. Love the blue from the water and how well it complements the warm colors.
Nice flight angle and sharpness. I wish the shadow under the bird was less harsh, but I know it's hard to get shadow-less shots with those long wings.

Good for you Don! I must make that trip myself. The light here is super and you got a great flight angle as well.

Hey Don, an all around successful carne-in-flight image! I love the contrasting warm and cool tones of the BG, very neat.

Hi Don, exquisite light, and you captured a great flight pose with the full downstroke. Good detail throughout, sharp, and I wouldnt have known that was snow in the FG, if Marina hadnt mentioned it.
