This has a very unique perspective which, combined with the processing, makes it an arresting image. There is a nice range of tones, and the highlights give it an extra spark.

What a great way to shoot a massive tree! For me, the top two-thirds alone could make a separate image -- I love what is happening with the leaves and branches up there.

Christopher, this must be amazing to see in person. I like your textures and the slight blur vignetting on the edges.

Your title is perfect for this image, and the techniques you used really accentuate its size.

What you have managed to do here is create the feeling of how big this tree is. Great job with that. As always, gorgeous processing. The tones are especially appealing. I wonder about darkening that one light area on the left side of the trunk just above the middle. Beautiful work.

This really shows the massiveness of the tree, and the aged processing look supports that this is an old tree. Great composition with the placement of the trunk and the branches radiating out and upwards.

The composition really shows off the large size of the tree. Nice colors and texture work!

Christopher,
Greetings. I particularly like the textures and tone of this one... especially the broad trunk, branches to leaves transition. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
