    Default Memories of Bosque

Have been having fun reworking some older images for a new website. This image is from my first trip to Bosque in 2008 with the good old Canon 40D. I love all the colors and layers to this image. Snow Geese were everywhere that year, so many that it was often difficult to isolate them.

    Canon 40D, Canon 400 DO & 1.4
    F5.6, 1/2500sec, ISO 100, manual mode
    Handheld

C & C always welcomed and much appreciated.

Wonderful action shot with great color.
The only problem to my eye was that it was too dark. Using a levels adjustment in Photoshop I moved the white point to the left to brighten it up.
    What do you think?

Note: As I looked at it after I posted it I think it would be better if I had not brightened the bottom of the image. But this gives you the idea of the key issue to my eyes - i.e. not bright enough.

I would prefer to see one in between the two.

They look like they are floating to the ground. Wonderful feeling to this image, Marina. I agree with Troy.

I see merit in both images, I think the first however has a certain atmospheric quality about it that I like very much indeed. Great poses and good detail, I like the backdrop also, a very pleasing image.

Difficult one, I agree the first one is better from an atmospheric point but I can see a lot more detail in repost, after saying that I would be very pleased to have ether of them, very nice indeed.

Excellent landing captured! It shows how perfect their landing could be from the details. Piece of art indeed.
