Here is another frame from a chance encounter with this beautiful female Anatum Peregrine Falcon. She is looking for the Mourning Dove that she was eating in the grass before we unknowingly spooked her.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

Beautifully coordinated colours - you couldn't ask for better, the bird is pin sharp and there is good eye contact. Exposure looks spot on, the only suggestion I have would be to consider just a little more sharpening on the plumage.

    The colors here are beautiful.
Love the close look at her in flight.
Great light and sharp and would sharpen the far wing a little bit more.
Would love a little bit more of a head turn our way ( understand why she isn't) but wonderful as is,
    Gail

Lovely colours David and great flight pose. I like the comp although I might add a bit on the bottom but thats just me. There is good detail on the bird and light is great.

Ticks all the boxes here David, a fine inflight image of this majestic predator, with a killer BG.

Hi David, you keep turning them out. Exquisite light and IQ, and I do like the inflight 'hunting' pose. You have the sharpness spot on, and the overall colours from falcon to BG are simply stunning. A fine image.

You're nailing these speedsters. Bird and background are gorgeous, and sharp. Other than teaching him to raise his wings a little, I have no nits. Beautiful image.

My goodness that is a gorgeous raptor! The sharpness is perfect, as is the image quality in general. For a non baited raptor image shot from a truck, this is pretty flippin awesome!
