    Lovely lighting, I can imagine it is cold because he appears to be hunkered down conserving heat as much as possible. The droplet on the bill adds that tiny but important bit of extra interest.

    This is lovely.
    The light is beautiful and I like your composition very much.
    Good head turn and detail in the plover.
    I wouldn't mind a sliver more on the bottom and a sliver off the top ( although I do like the blue at the top).

    Graeme never felt any cold when I've been over, beautiful light and colours and the fluffed up bird looks great ,agree maybe a tad more at the bottom but that is been picky on a cracking image like this.

    Lovely! It's nice to see such a quality image of this not oft shown bird. The low angle work is excellent, but it does feel too tight on the bottom to my eye as well. The bit of sky on top is deluxe. Well exposed, sharp, good job on handling the bird's shadow too...
