The low shooting angle is very good, as is the light quality. Head angle is perfect. The bright highlights on the face around the eye are a bit jarring, but then, on the other hand, I enjoy all the water droplets on the back....

    Hi Simon,

Nice image. Love the duck and the soft light and the detail in the white/light gray feathers. Here is a case, with those nice reflections, where the duck could have been placed in the middle of the frame or even higher....

For me the huge specular highlights on the wet face and the bill are very distracting. Thus the cleaned up repost with some Eye Doctor work as well.

Hi Simon, lovely low angle, and well exposed in soft light. I do like the droplets on the back, and Artie's clean up of the head has really taken this up a few notches.

Lovely shot, although it is nice to see some water on the head too much can be distracting - Artie has done a first class job to make your image even better, the crop off the top has helped too.

YAW. Glad that you liked it. Used the Patch Tool, the Spot Healing Brush, and Content Aware Fill. All as described in our Digital Basics File (plus tons more).
