Hi Grant - A big welcome to Wildlife Forum! Looks like you saw some good action. Those claws are impressive. Where was this taken? You handled the harsh midday light well. More detail can be extracted with a midtone adjustment. What pp software are you using? If PS then try a levels adjustment moving the middle slider to the left to about 1.20. The fg looks a little sharper than the bears but that may be due to the movement of the bears. I like the flying grass to the right but do wish that we could see more of the face of one of the bears. Any chance you have others showing more of a side view or frontal view of either bear as they moved around? I'd also prefer a bit more room below.

Your comments don't have to be technical in nature, just tell us what you like or don't like about an image.
Nicely detailed, great BG, and the flying grasses add a nice touch. Would've liked to see a bit more of the rear one's face showing above the near one's head. Maybe a touch of lightening to pull out what is visible (teeth and eye)?
Wow this is fantastic. Great action shot. Think it needs a bit of sharpening in some areas and I would like more details on teeth and eye as Steve suggests. I think it also might need some cw rotation, judging by the non-vertical trees.
