This is a similar concept to another image I posted a little while back here. Same eagle as that post, just a different frame paired with a different flag photo.

I used five textures, three from Shadowhouse Creations and two of my own making, to replace the BG and age the photo. The eagle was converted to sepia tone using Silver Efex Pro and I muted the colors of the flag.

This is remarkable in both its symbolism and visual appeal. The primary diagonal is very effective, and I really like the blending of the texture and the eagle into the flag. The strong vignette not only adds to the aged look but spotlights the flag and eagle. Very, very nicely done.
