    Nice comp and sharpness, Karl. Like the effect added by the color in the feathers and the mouth to this wintery image. I see a halo around the bill that I would address. I would also sharpen the bill towards the tip more as it's starting to fall out of the dof range.

    Very attractive curves and lines. Has a graphic quality to it that I find very appealing.

    This was also my first thought. It is an unusual Image.

    I like what you were going for here with a nice comp and appealing lines. I have a feeling the whole image could go brighter (perhaps 1/3 stop or so) and another round of sharpening would be good, too.

    Thank you all. I tried to address all the issues being mentioned while redone it starting from RAW image.
    Now it is a slightly different image, mostly brighter and sharper I guess.
