    Excellent species to get in flight. Pose and colors look great and so does the sharpness. You can post larger (1200x900) for better viewing.

    Stunning! Post this guy at 1200 px wide! That wing position is just right. Not sure I'd ask for anything else.

    Would you mind posting the entire exif (SS, Aperture, ISO)?

    Very nice Stuart! Love the downward wingstroke combined with the upwards lift of the head. Perhaps cloning in a bit of texture on the larger black area below would work well, but the rest of the BG is pretty cool.

    I agree with Arash that the background is a bit busy. The darks overwhelm the image. I also thought that there was too much green on the bird. I reworked it and did the following:
    1. Added magenta to the entire image, but especially to the bird.
    2. Reduced the contrast of the background.
    3. Increased the contrast and darkened the bird.
    Do you think that helped?
