Very Sweet Gail... Love the background..! Its a nice pose and I like that the perch is mostly in focus save for a few bits. Its a very sharp image, looks almost overly so on the bird but I think that is the bright sunlight on the edge of the feathers.. I would take this one any day..

Hi Gail, here is a word I dont say too often - unless its to Colleen .... beautiful, this is beautiful. Love the overall setting, good DOF on the main perch including the vertical one, and the warbler is tack sharp. I also like how the colour of the warbler blends into all the colours of the perch. Killer BG. I would come in from the left a touch.

Lovely, Gail. I like the look-back, and the comp, and the light, and the smooth BG. A vertical might also work, but I like seeing the whole perch as you have shown it. Maybe just the tiniest bit oversharp in places?

Hi Shawn,We did not use audio for this warbler. We were using audio to find an arctic warbler but not the orange crowned. The orange crowned warbler was everywhere- the easiest bird to find while we were in Nome.
