    Default No Luck today

This is from yesterday.......as today the temp dropped quite a bit and the swallows were hunkered down in the boxes..........Mark 3 and the Sigma 300-800 @ 906mm at ISO 1250 and f11 for 1/800 sec. Flash didn't fire :(. Added a bit of green pallette to the right........and cropped some off the top. Noise Ninja applied in PP. Also added a bit of contrast more than yesterdays post as Axel suggested.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

Perfect wings and position of male head. Congratulations. I wish I had it.

Is it the sharpening when you downsize the photo (well, we have to do that) that makes it like a little bit noisy? ISO 1250 should be no problem on Mark III - if we don't crop too much at least.

    HI Brutus,
Only crop was from top.........full frame left to right (what I removed on left I added to right).

Great pose. Very similar to yesterday's. Not sure if it is noise or ??? but the blue feathers esp. about the head look quite funky... Sort of lacking expected detail. Were they lightened???
