I used Dennis' texture "Impressions" on an image of a frosted leaf. I had already processed it and added one of my textures. I added Impressions twice. Once using Color Burn blend mode. Then, I flipped the texture both horizontally and vertically, applied it again at Soft Light blend mode. I did not change the colors.

Nice frosted leaf!!! I really like your idea of flipping the texture and using a different blend mode. The colors in the texture layers work nicely with the colors of the leaf.

(In case anyone is thinking it's this Dennis who has a connection to the texture, I can't take credit for it.)

My apologies to Kerry Perkins, who is the person who created the texture! (I should not post late at night.)

Anita, the Impressions texture really worked well with the image. I especially like the edges of frost on the leaf

Before reading the comments, I thought the bg of this image looked familiar. Kerry's texture has been skillfully applied. I like the simplicity of image.

Nice use of Kerry's texture, Anita! Lovely composition, and I like the frosty look of the leaves. Well done!

Sharp eye Anita to have them curl into one point. I like the frosty edges and the BG colours and textures are very nice.

Very nice! I love the way the stem swirls up and the leaves curl gracefully down.
