    Default THEME - BOSQUE SNOWFALL

This was taken the day after the snow at Bosque in November. I used an Orton effect and then added a texture from Shadowhouse.

This is nicely composed, and the color is an attention-getter. The textures of the tree and other vegetation in the image are wonderful, and they contrast nicely with the snow.

Hi Cheryl, I like the feel of this image which, for me, is both warm and cold at the same time. The warm colors against the cold snow really make an interesting image. The Orton effect looks really nice, love it.

I love the minute detail coupled with the Orton effect. The addition of snow makes for striking contrast. Well done.

Love the soft feel of this and the warm color palette, Cheryl. Some really nice texture there in the tree trunk and leaves. Well done!

Great moody feel Cheryl. I think the Orton adds to the ominous feel. I wonder about lightening that one bush behind the tree would do to give more separation. Must have been cold shooting!

Gorgeous!! The bright snow on the ground pulls my eye there -- not sure what to do about it. It wouldn't work to darken it, but maybe there is a little more texture to be brought out, or some subtle color -- either a touch of blue or some reflected warm light? Maybe with a gradient so the effect is more near the edge and less near the tree. Lots to play with here!!

WOW! This is awesome! Beautiful composition with the strong lines of the cottonwood tree trunk. Gary states what I think...beautiful minute details coupled with the Orton effect! Love the glow, it really makes a visual impact.

Well Cheryl you captured the Bosque in Snow essence in one OOTB theme... this is exactly how it felt in reality.
