Not really... This is an image of my first camera. Actually it's like my first camera. I still have the first one but this one is prettier
It's a full frame, full auto, beast.

Michael, I love that because that is exactly my first real camera too (1955)! Brownie Hawkeye Flash - wish I still had it. I remember trembling as I wound that film, feeling it take hold around the take-up spool. Then the anticipation as the arrows appeared, slowing down so I wouldn't miss the first frame... I've seen some of the work people are doing with them today and I'm really tempted. Full-frame, full-auto, that's funny!![]()

Hey Kerry- I found that one on eBay for 20 bucks. Unfortunately the owner did a poor job of packing it and the reflector was broken in shipping but it's unbelievably clean. My original camera isn't as clean but I think that it still works. I haven't loaded any 120 film and shot it yet. I've seen some really nice, recent images made from the Brownie too.
I had one of those, too! And what a great picture from it!! Classic!
Nice camera, Michael! I've only used digital cameras myself which is rather ironic considering how much I like "old" photos.![]()
Cool! My dad has something similar in his basement bar (along with a whole bunch of other cool artefatcs) that apparently dates back to WWII. Now this gives me the itch to go back to his place and take a closer look at it...
pretty cool. Can't say I had one as my first was the Canon AE-1. But I would like one of those for the fun of it!
