    i had heared about this bird being at a lake and that it was often heared but rarely seen so thought i would try my luck
    I got a flyby :)

    Sharp, and you did as well as you could. With a bit of luck the bird would have been flying slightly towards you instead of slightly away and you would have been famous! (The lower half of the face is in shadow...)

    Hi Robert..........I think Artie is refering to famous.........as we haven't seen a clean blue Bg with this species! bummer on the head turn. Images like these are what should keep driving you as a photographer........almost!
