Lovely shot Holger, good eye contact, I tend to use a higher SP on these, as you know they are very fast.

Holger I like the bit of blur on the wing which to me gives the impression of movement ,real good flight shot.

Hi Holger, from the light I get the feeling of a storm brewing, where you get great light on the subject and that wonderful depth of sky. Nice detail & clarity and I like the angle of the bird. Was this taken with Jeroen as I know he likes this area a lot?

Excellent image. That said, the far wing detail is amazing. If only it had been fully banking so that the near wing looked like the far wing. EXP and SH good. Bad luck (or bad wind?) had the bird flying sightly away from you....

Nice looking shot of this fast little bird. I like the wing position and the side profile. Sharp and well exposed. Nice.

Hi Holger, good banking flight pose showing off the full wingspread, and nicely separated from the BG. I like how the legs protrude dead center of the tail. I can see this as a vertical too.

Brilliant. That's a whole lotta lens to be tracking this bird with. You did very well here. Love the light quality and the details in the plumage.
