another wren taken in my local wood, not the best of lighting but I did my best,cannon500mm IS L F4,7D,tripod,cropped, sharpened for web, touch of denoise in BG.iso800,I/160S,F4.Thanks for looking.
The perch has lots of character, but a bit big for this fellow. Perhaps a bit of cropping from the bottom to reduce its impact a bit. Perhaps just a bit above your sig. line.
Hi Chris, another sharp image of this fellow, and love the earthy tones of both wren and perch. I was going to ask if this is a set up, but you have stated that you captured this in your local woods.
Great vertical follow up to your previous horizontal presentation of presumably the same bird. The lighting is excellent imo. The wren is once again posed perfectly, with a nice view of the tail too. The size of perch gives some scale to the tiny size of the bird, and works well imo. I like how tonally similar the perch and the bird are too.
Beautiful bird, pose, complimentary perch, & BKGR. SH, EXP, and image design all perfect. All in all, superb.
