One from the Alligator Farm last weekend. Shutter speed was too fast for the flash to have any affect so i tried to recover the dark areas in CNX using D-Lighting.

    D300, 70-200VR at 110mm, f/8, 1/2000s, 0EV, ISO 400, flash set at -0.3EV

What could i have done different to have gotten this better in the camera?

    comments and critiques are appreciated.

I like it Harold Having a visible sharp eye is excellent. Would prefer fully open wings. I think it would have decreased the shadows on the underside. Good point on the flash. Would probably try around 1/500 to get the light out there !!!

Even with the underwing shadows, I really like it! What a beautiful image you have here! I love the composition and it seems to have just the right amount of space to it. Nicely done!
