Gail this is just stunning all around. I even tried to find something to nit-pick at, but I got nothin'. Maybe add a little to the bottom and take a little off the top?

Awesome image Gail. I could spend hours looking at it.
Can't find anything to fault on it.

great pose, exposure, details and sharpness. BG is cool too. I think this works in a vertical as well

About perfect wingspan and very terrific exposure of the white and dark feathers.

Hi Gail, you are turning out some great bald eagle images, especially their flight poses. Excellent exposure, and good DOF from wing tip to wing tip. Great sky BG too. I can see this as a vertical too, with space added to the bottom.

PS. I posted this before reading Arash's comment about a vertical.

Totally killer image of this bald eagle. The light was just right and you nailed the exposure. Image quality does not get better. Very nice that you achieved some background interest with the subtle suggestions of clouds...

Another killer BE shot Gail. Perfect pose,HA and exposure. The detail is impeccable. Even though we try to shoot birds in a non blue sky allot, I think this one would have been awesome in a vivid blue sky as the tail and head would be more defined.
I like the fact that there is some blue in it. Well done, Again.

    Pierre-Alexandre. Close enough.

Thanks for the info. My brother-in-law lives in NS so I do have to get there once in a while. The lens will definitely come along next time!
