    Default White Display

Something a little different from all the high key egrets

Fabulous. Has a fireworks effect to it. A bit much foliage to the right, but I can't see how that could have been avoided.

Great display in sweet light. I feel it could go a tad brighter and if it were mine, I'd probably crop it square. It works nice as presented also. A little more room at the bottom would have been nice too.

    Hi Mike,
The whites are handled very well here. Originally I was going to comment of clipping the edges...............but as you have the same effect all around.......it doesn't detract and is very pleasing. The comp is also very pleasing.

excellent comp IMO, like the foliage at bottom right.
Agree it may go a bit brighter on the bird

just an alternative....raised black point and barely touched the highlights
thinking out loud as I am playing....this is a super image

Love the head angle and the raised aigrettes. I am fine with the legs cut as that puts the emphasis on the bird and the plumes. The big problem is the cluster of brown leaves near the lrc, esp. the whitewash covered one which is extremely distracting. Some type of SQ crop, as suggested by Fabs, might be the cure...

    Hi Mike,

Nice to see you posting!! Keep them coming. Everything mentioned. I don't mind the feet being cut but the brown in the FG is a little distracting as mentioned.

A spectacular display - something like a white lyrebird. Good job with the whites.
