Beautiful bird and composition. If the wrens in the UK are as timid as they are in the U.S., that shot required some patience and luck!

    This is terrific.
Great perky pose and DOF. IQ is excellent.
I find the image a bit dark and wonder if increasing the exposure or brightness would improve this fine image,

Chris I have only managed a similar shot on one occasion so I can just imagine how thrilled you must have been when you got this image. The detail and pose are excellent - a fine shot to be proud of. I like the colours he seems to be quite a lot darker and richer than the one I got -due to the time of day I suspect.(having said that mine was in bright sunlight).

I have always liked to just look at this cute rounded little bird. In a way it reminds me to my childhood as we had a lot of them hopping around in our neighborhood. A truly beautiful image, Chris.

This is perfect imo. Perch size is well balanced in the frame for the subject's size. Beautiful low angled light quality. Pose is perfect, head angle is perfect.... Just a brilliant image sir.

Hi Chris, super pose with the short raised tail, and the little guy is nice and sharp. Excellent detail all round.

Simply superb! The colors and light are so rich and velvety. Nothing but praise from me for this fine piece of avian photography.
