Lovely. Good sharpness and nice wing position. For the repost I used my NIK 50-50 (Detail Extractor & Tonal Contrast) on the bird only and lightened the image as well.

Thanks Artie. It looks better for sure.
This is a very friendly bird as it lives and hunts in an area visited by people with children and dogs.

Very nice indeed Karl. The muted light really helped and nice to see you getting these results from HH the 500mm. Gotta love the weight balance of the Mark II 500mm.

This one is the best in your series IMO. Excellent landing pose, IQ & wing position. TFS

    This is terrific Karl.
I see a bit of a magenta cast on my monitor but no one else has mentioned it so maybe it is me.
Love the wings up and IQ. Good vertical comp.

    Thanks Gail.
You are right; none in the background but a lot on the bird.
I totally forgot to check for magenta cast.
    Now it is gone.

excellent incoming pose & sharpness. would personally prefer a bit more room at the bottom if you have it.

Thanks, Girish. Unfortunately I don't. It was full frame cropped from horizontal.

Very cool raptor, the dandling talons are quite good, sharp eye and nice wing position, I would add more room around.

Nice take off shot Karl. Love the hanging feet and the HA and I like the vert comp. Artie's repost adds some detail and brightness to this great shot. Well done
