    Taken in the local Harbour, here in Bounemouth.

    Canon 400mm 5.6
    f/8.0, (1/4000)
    ISO 640
    WB - Auto
    Manual Exposure
    Hand Held.

    There is some loss of detail in the brightest parts of the image. This would be a great image to use highlight recover with the Highlight slider in Lightroom.

    Hi Joe. I like the wind blown look here and the fine feather detail. Is this a white Morph reddish egret?

    Hi Cheryl, it's a Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) similar to the snowy Egret (Egretta thula).
