The technical aspect of this image are excellent. Tack sharp image of this speedster.
Love the fish in the mouth and the droplets.
This is a personal preference thing but I do wish for a wings up or fully down position.
Still, would love this one in my files!

Hi David, I really like the angled flight towards you, and Im fine with the wing position. Well exposed, especially on the black cap, as sometimes the eye gets lost. Great seeing the fish and the flying droplets, and I can see this as a vertical with lots of space below.

Beautiful frame. The action, rich lighting, vibrant colors, sharpness, exposure,...it all works here. Even your sig looks right on. I like that we can see the fish's eye too.

Terrific on-coming pose. The catch and the water drops really add to it. Great exposure. Nicely done.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Gail, I too prefer a full up or down wing position but the others in this sequence didnt show the fish well and had some shadows. I will have to keep on trying ;) Thanks for your input.

Stuart, I did try a vertical and it looked pretty good too. I think I did one of this as a vert. on my last order of canvases. Thanks for the feedback.

Very nice David and you got yourself into a good angle for this approach. Maybe a crop too far though as the IQ is on the verge for my eyes.

Love the sharpness of the face and the fish, and the wicked angled wings down pose with a nice view of the spread tail. EXP right on.
