    Very simple , well composed , clean image. BG is great as is the IQ. Might just tone down some of the bright perch.

    Nice background Stuart. I'd also take a look at burning the perch just a bit.

    Would be nice to see the rest of the exif.

    Lovely heron. I like the solid portrait work here with the fairly direct lighting, and pleasing body and head angles. I think you included just the right amount of perch in the image too. One suggestion would be to blend out the bright-ish circular highlight in the upper right hand part of the background towards the top of the frame.
