    Default thanks for all

I created this as the front of a card to send as a thank you to my family for coming here for Thanksgiving Day (they came from Seattle, Valdosta GA and Birmingham Ala as well as around here) and then realized there are others I should be thankful for, like my BPN friends who have mentored me all along. Nikon D7000 1/640. f4.2, iso400
Topaz work and some sat, minor cropping. Wording in PS.

I like the defocused background and the diagonal formed by the tops of the leaves. Ordinarily, I'm not a fan of foreground elements being out of focus, but that really works, here, as a soft background for the text. It's nice that the leaf in the lower right points toward the text.

It's a lovely card Hazel and I agree with Dennis on the foreground leaf. I think we've got a great group here

Hi Hazel - this makes a lovely card. I agree that the oof leaves make a nice bg for the text rather than competing with the text.

A lovely image of nature's wonderful colors and many shapes. I also agree that the oof leaves are perfect for your heartfelt text. I, too, am thankful for the community of BPN!
