Dan Kearl
Hi Dan, love the 'focus' on the head, and I really like how the light has been cast showing up the purple sheen. Good eye contact, and your low angle of capture looks good.
Good exposure. Like the details, colors and low angle Position.
You captured the iridescence beautifully. Nice low angle and good eye contact.

Wow, I have never seen the purple gloss so prominent. Love the low perspective and the super sharp pupil.

Spot on exposure and IQ. Low angle puts it over the top. Congrats to you.
Dan, that purple iridescence makes the image. Not sure you could get it with any other light angle.
A knock-out image, well done in every aspect. Digging the low angle again, and the low swimming pose of the scaup. Very appealing colours!
Another nice duck shot Dan. Great look at the head and the sun has hit the feather just right to show the head colors. Love that yellow eye too. Well done
Man this is rich! You are killing the duck images recently sir, and I really enjoy the body angles that you are achieving, compared with the more classic body/head parallel to the sensor portraits of ducks. I dig the triple eye reflection...really though I dig everything about this one. What awesome colors you achieved on the head of the duck!
Wonderful colors, beautiful eye, nice low angle and composition.
Regards,
Satish.
