This was a grab shot, I was photographing ducks on the water but I sensed something happening from the corner of my eye so I swung round and managed to get this one in flight. It is already quite a crop that is why I have not gone in tighter.
    All C&C welcome.

I like the complimenting background and the landing pose, Jon.

Hi Jonathan, was has caused the green shadow colour on the under belly, can't be the water surly?

Nice job of getting this guy in the frame on such short notice! It's tough to follow them in even when you have them in sight from far away.

Not the ideal shutter speed here, but the extended neck and wings are a nice treat.

I'm OK with the size of the subject in the frame, and the pano crop works well. The BG is a bit distracting, especially the area in front of the face, perhaps photographing with a wide-open aperture would have helped...but I realize it is a "grab shot" therefore likely no time to change settings!

Nice Duck IF shot with a good wing stretch and HA and I like the varied BG. Well done, especially for a grab shot.
