Lorna was in the kitchen preparing Thanksgiving dinner when she called out "Hey Henry, there's a bunch of birds in the front of the house. You might want to check it out." She was right!

Even though all my camera gear was packed (we leave for a trip to Sanibel tomorrow) I quickly pulled out my camera and took a few shots. Cedar Waxwings were on my wish list for this winter so I was delighted to have them pose for me. The thing that pulled them in was the crabapples.

You have terrific details in your bird with a very nice pose. For my taste, the bird is a tad tight in the frame and the angle is a little steep. That said, I think you did well with what you were working with.

    Hi Henry,
Safe travels to Sanibel (I love that place and will be there in April!yeah!)
I think this is very good.
You have excellent IQ on the waxwing and I like the crab apples on the right.
I would like a bit more room on the bottom and I might increase the reds in the crab apples. They seem a bit washed out,
    Gail
