I like the clouds in the BG.
PP: Cropped from horizontal to vertical, increased exposure by 0.5 on the wings only. I had my exposure set to protect the whites but a second before I caught this dive, the sun went behind a cloud so wings were underexposed. Should have been in AP. levels, DE at 4%, USM to JPEG

What an amazing shot Gail, Great details. Love the spread. Head tilt and the eye contact is great too. I like how the blue merges with white clouds in the BG.

Is it me or there is slight noise in the under wings ?

Hi Gail, such an unusual pose, so very well captured. Your vertical comp works well, and you have brought out the underwing detail nicely. Good seeing some hint of cloud in the sky BG.

    Fabulous.
Might look better with a bit more contrast in the eye.

This is one kick butt BE flight pose, Gail. Love the BG. You've really processed it beautifully.

Wow! Great capture and very nice job of bringing back the details in the shadows - there is no evidence that I can see!

Hi Gail, a bit late, been in Cancun on vacation but had to let you know that I really like this dynamic eagle shot. Great HA and leg extension plus the graduated Bg adds allot to this beautiful frame. Nice work exposing this, and your other eagle shots.
You sure are lucky being able to shoot these awesome raptors on a regular basis. Very nice.
