    Default Sparrowhawk juvenile

I shot this last weekend, in the last decent light, he was facing into a strong wind, so wouldn't turn around for a side/frontal shot, had to settle for a nice head turn

Hi Joe, I like the head turn and backside view. Good critical focus on the eye and well composed overall. Good DOF too but perhaps a narrower aperture would have brought the tail tip in fine focus as well.

    Well done Joe!
You got a nice clean view and excellent DOF.
I can see this as a vertical as well,
    Gail

Super image and IQ on this one, Joe. Your bird is really lovely against this BG with super details.

Nice pose, Joe. Would a bit more sharpening on the head work? It looks very slightly soft to me.
