Hi Jon, love the mud covered face, and well done on the exposure to bring out the greens on the face too. Love the droplets, they stand out so well, especially the two on the end of the wing tip. Lovely striking colour and texture to the water, but would try and blend away the blue streak above the head.

Agree about the blue highlight- apart from that though, a great shot.
    Love the water colour.

Beautiful water colors and movement, minus the reflected sky part others have mentioned....if you were shooting bursts, I wonder if a frame or two before or after this might not have had less reflected sky highlights? The mud on the face, sharply rendered feather details, and water droplets all over the duck, are standout features to the image. A bit more room on the bottom of the frame would have been nice as the reflection is so close to being complete.

This is such a lovely image. The colors and swirls in the water are awesome. THe bird looks great against it. What's not to love?

Love the water colour and texture...way cool. The muc on the bill is pretty neat too. Fantastic details on the face and neck. Pity about the pale streak touching the head, and if you do have more below for the reflection than yes that would be good.

Thanks for the feed back everyone, I did originally have an image as you suggested but for some reason I didn't post it. Here it is, I had to recrop it slightly and add a little canvas.

Jonathan everything has been said about this wonderful image. Love the every thing in the frame.
I had never seen this beautiful green color on head here at Pune, will have to see them soon.
