    Default A little kiss

Seeing Doug's superb burrowing owl image a few boxes earlier reminded me of this one that I've been wanting to share here and keep forgetting. It was taken in April, Cape Coral, and they never mated, so maybe this was just practice? It happened in a split second and I wish it had been parallel to my sensor, but I think still a keeper. Some grasses removed and cleaned up the top edge of the frame.

Hi Grace, I would take this any day, as I have only a very few owl images in my files. Well timed to capture part of the moment, raised wings, and I like as if they are 'kissing'.

A very nice interaction Shot Grace. I like the nice light under the open wings. I live so close to Cape Coral and did not go last season. I will surely make it this year.

I wasn't sure I was going to like the kiss from the side/behind, but I really do. It gives it a unique perspective. The wing position is lovely and it's a great little love story!!!
