    Hi all. I was at Viera today. Not alot happening but lots of osprey fishing. This one tried but to no avail. Taken with the D300 and Nikon 70-300VR, f 7.1, 1/1600, iso 640 at 300mm

    Man, this one has a vulturish look to it!! :-) You did not have the best lighting conditions, but the look on the Osprey's face is priceless.

    Really nice action. And a face with expression too. It would probably be stupid to demand a lower angle, because when you shot like this you probably don't hve any choises. You are lucky to get the shot.

    Thanks all for the comments. I just kept the shutter down on this one and came up with this one image that came out to my liking. All happened in a matter of seconds. I thought it showed "all wet and nothing to show for it" look:D

    Love the action and the spray of the water! He does not look happy coming up empty.
