    Default Whooper in Flight

Here is another shot I took of the whooper swans this weekend.
A nicer sky would have been better but hopefully I will get that another day.

Nikon D7000 300mm F4 AF. 1/1600 f5.6 ISO800. Levels adjustments crop and sharpen in Lightroom.

Thanks for looking. All comments are welcome.

Nice to see them back, and it can be hard isolating one bird at times. Good one.

The light quality (or lack of) was not your friend here as the near side of the swan is dark. I do like the wings up position and the sharpness of the subject.

I have to agree about the light Daniel now you mention it. I was thinking so much about getting the birds flying towards me I didn't think too much about the light direction. Something else to keep in mind next time.
Thanks for your comments as well Johnny.

As Daniel said the light was not your friend on this shot. It is still a nice flight image.
