I have been a bit busy doing some scouting for a 2015 photo tour and workshop here in beautiful Costa Rica.
For this one I used
MarkIV+600f/4@f/8+ISO800+SS1/80!(yes it is dark in the cloud forest too!)Tripod+FF+Pretty much out of the camera except for an offending branch that was doing nothing in the image.
A good stabilazing technique is paramount when shooting at such slow shutter speeds even if you are using a sturdy tripod!

Nice composition and brilliant colours.
Only slight niggle is the branches and leaves behind the bird's head, the rest of the BG works really well.
What a nice pose he gave you, to get this FF. Nice work getting him this sharp at slow SS. Might tone down the brightest parts of the perch, and maybe a bit more sharpening on the bird if possible. But an enviable image to be sure.
