    Default Grey Currawong

This is a large passerine that is closely related to the butcherbirds here in Australia. There are several races - this one is the inland mallee form "Black-winged Currawong".
    Thanks for looking, Greg.

    Look at that massive beak!
Nice to see a new species! so thanks Greg for that! :)_ I will have to admit that this bird do look like our great-tailed grackle especially since the eye has that bright yellow color.

Love that yellow eye, neat perch and the BG has interesting texture features. Good comp. That extra piece between the feet is a bit distracting to me, but all-in-all a fantastic image of a drab (but impressive) bird.

Very good image. I like how the yellow eye stands out from the brown bird and that big fat bill! Nice detail and BG.

Greg they are not the prettiest bird but I think your image really does it justice especially that eye.
