Taken yesterday at Gilbert Water Ranch. I like the fact you can see debris being flung in the air as the Towhee roots like a chicken. Processed on laptop.

Nice capture. I really like the debris frozen in mid-air. Really nice detail. Horizontally I would like to see the bird moved more to the left side rather than in the center. The only other comment is that the background is nicely blurred but color-wise doesn't offer great contrast, so I wonder if cropping some of the space above the head might help to change the perception of that?

Nice to see the debris on the shot. Love the low angle and the clean foreground and background.
I would have been good if the leg didn't look like the bird was stood still as I had to read your description to see where the debris was from. Maybe if it was positioned backwards or had a slight blur.

    Love the image though.

So much action here, really a nice bird with some interesting habitat around it. The head angle looks perfect to my eye and this bird can definitively pass anadverted if you are not paying attention if it is on the ground due to its color.

Pretty cool! Love that flying debris, and the low angle is very good. I'm wondering if warming up the WB or boosting the saturation in the BG would spice things up colour-wise.
