    Absolutely lovely BG, Corey... What is your location? When was this taken? Most Fall/Winter Loon bills are rather grayish ...was it really this black? Don't know if it's some change here on BPN, but I'm not seeing your location. Thanks for posting my all time favorite bird! Edit: looks like "location" is all of a sudden over to the right... sorry I missed it.

    Thanks Sandy I took this photo on Lake Muskoka near Gravenhurst Ontario, I didn't change the colors at all.

    I like the low angle and the calm water, good HA. the whites are blown. I'd blend in the darker OOF blub in the BG as it is a bit distracting. TFS

    The whites are not blown there was no clipping on the Histogram.

    the whites look blown as posted, RGB values are exceeding 250 and there is not detail there in that area.

    If you think it was not blown in RAW try reprocessing and see if you can get some detail there.
