Bald Eagle

I really like the simplicity of this image with the seamless ground to background, the old weathered stump and the calling pose of the full adult eagle.

Looks too good to be true Alan !
Superb image. Just the faint transition to blue at the top is just right. Excellent! That would win a few at our local snappers clubs !!
Cheers

This is just awesome.
Did you lure the bird onto the stump in any way?
Excellent image Alan! I like the calling pose, IQ, details, perch and composition.
Simply beautiful, I find the perch just perfect for this image. Nice processing on the fade from white to blue. As always you nailed the exposure.

wonderful capture Alan. the eagle is beautifully exposed and the perch and pose are terrific. Personally i would like a tiny bit more colour in the BG behind the head just to give slightly better definition of the white feathers but I'd still be thrilled to call it mine.
Lovely pose and perch. Love the background and snow too
IQ is super
